I had started this as a study at first while I was doodling at a friend's place, but decided to change most of it and turn it into a painting. Lately I've been trying to improve the backgrounds in my work, since I used to avoid that often in the past. I made the background messy on purpose with a certain mood in mind, so that the viewer can make their own interpretation of it~
